RAINFALL AND THE EARTH’S MOUTH - The Letters Series

Outside, rain falls from the empty hands of the spheres and into the Earth's wide-open, blue mouth. Behind the windows of houses, tall sleeping buildings, and dripping cars, the day tucks itself under the soft blanket of warmth.
It holds one by the hand.
Some, sleepy-eyed, with lips stained with the taste of coffee.
Others, wide awake, with dawn's breath upon their foreheads.
Inside, thoughts fall like stars from the darkness of the mind and into consciousness wide open, all-seeing eye. Behind the mask one wears as they step into the world's grand stage, and underneath the skin's membrane, the heart flutters - red-painted, fragile, and powerful.
It utters the truth - but, how ready can one really be, to listen?
Some, soft-spoken and in love with the rare individuality of the universal, the touch of a cat's silky fur, the sway of the sea, and the melancholy of mornings.
Others, thunder-like, swords clutched between the teeth, hurrying to spit their fire on a world already burning.
We are all it.
I want you to look at yourself as the birds look at the wind - unattached, and completely aware.
And, as you look, allow yourself to be met with only the purest of kindness.
If you still haven't had the chance to read our latest article, CARL JUNG: The Power of the Human Psyche, Analytical Psychology, and the Meaning of Spirituality, you can do so here.
Until the next letter, I am sending you love.
Yours,
Meri
